No contract is formed between a consumer and Used-IT via transactions conducted on this Web site or otherwise, unless and until Used-IT accepts your order by e-mail confirming that it has dispatched your order, regardless of whether or not you receive said e-mail. Any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom. Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England, and you and Used-IT irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
You must e-mail us at email@example.com to obtain authorisation prior to returning any goods. You must quote your order number and a full description of the fault and the steps necessary to replicate it (if applicable) in your e-mail. All returns must be authorised by us in writing prior to you returning the goods. We reserve the right to reject any return made without prior written authorisation.
You must return the goods to our published returns address, and you shall be responsible for any costs incurred in doing so, including our costs if postage was not pre-paid by you. These costs will be refunded to you if we sent you the wrong item. The goods should be returned complete with all accessories and packaging materials. You must include your order number and a copy of the fault description (if applicable) with the goods. We reserve the right to reject the return of any goods received incomplete or in poor condition. We would therefore recommend ensuring the goods are properly packaged and insurance is obtained from your carrier when returning the goods.
Do not write on or attach labels to the product or its packaging. Doing so may result in a reduction in your refund, or your return being rejected. Please ensure the product is properly wrapped to avoid any damage to the packaging.

If we sent you the wrong item we shall either dispatch the correct item or refund the original purchase price upon receipt of the goods. The item being returned must be unopened and suitable for resale as new.
If an item is returned without fault within 14 days of receipt we shall issue a refund of the original purchase price. This excludes software products. The goods must be complete with all original accessories and packaging materials and be suitable for resale as new. If we judge
this not to be the case, we reserve the right to reject the return or deduct the resulting loss of value from your refund. The final decision on this shall be subject to our expert judgement and you agree to be bound by this. Goods are not sold on a trial basis and we reserve the right to refuse a return if we believe this policy is being abused.
If an item is returned to us as faulty within 30 days of receipt we will test the item. If we are able to reproduce the fault we shall either repair or replace the item free of charge, or ask our supplier to do so. We shall then dispatch the item back to you free of charge. Alternatively, we shall issue a refund of the original purchase price if requested to do so by you or if we are unable to repair or replace the goods.
If an item is returned to us as faulty after 30 days of receipt we will test the item. If we are able to reproduce the fault we shall either repair or replace the item free of charge, or ask our supplier to do so, providing the item is still within its manufacturer's warranty period. We shall then dispatch the item back to you free of charge. If we are unable to repair or replace the goods we may, at our discretion, choose to issue compensation based on their current value. We shall not accept returns of any goods outside the manufacturer's warranty period.
Any faults which we judge to be caused by damage, misuse or neglect will not be repaired and the return will be rejected.
If an item is returned as faulty but we are unable to reproduce the fault, or if we reject a return for any reason, we shall return the goods to you and you shall be responsible for our reasonable costs in doing so. These costs shall be paid by you prior to us sending the goods. If payment of these costs is not received within 30 days of our notice to you we shall reserve the right to dispose of or destroy the goods and you shall not hold us responsible for any loss to you caused by this.
Any refund owed shall be issued to you within 30 days of receipt of the goods.
Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel the contract within 7 working days after receipt of the goods. This excludes software products Any goods purchased in an auction (such as eBay) are also excluded. Any services provided - such as delivery - are provided under a separate contract to the goods, and cannot be cancelled once performance of the service has begun (eg. when the goods have been despatched).
To cancel the contract you must do so in writing. You must quote your order number in your notice of cancellation. Upon sending notification, ownership of the goods will immediately revert back to us.
You must return the goods to us at our published returns address, and you shall be responsible for any costs incurred in doing so, including our costs if postage was not pre-paid by you. If you fail to deliver the goods within a reasonable time, we reserve the right to recover the goods and you shall be responsible for any costs incurred in doing so. In this event you must make the goods available for collection during business hours on a day specified by us. If we are unable to recover the goods within 30 days of receiving your notice of cancellation you shall become liable the full price of the goods. Should the costs exceed the value of the goods you must pay the balance within 30 days of notification of these costs.
You must take reasonable care of the goods - this includes the time in which they are being delivered from you to us. The goods must be complete with all original accessories and packaging materials and be suitable for resale as new. If we judge this not to be the case, we reserve the right to deduct the resulting loss of value from your refund. The final decision on this shall be subject to our expert judgement and you agree to be bound by this. We would therefore recommend ensuring the goods are properly packaged and insurance is obtained from your carrier when returning the goods.
A refund for the full price of the goods (less any costs incurred) will be issued within 30 days of receipt of your notification.

Used-IT does not limit its liability for death or personal injury to the extent only that it arises as a result of the negligence of Used-IT, its affiliates, employees or other representatives.
